About Anna

Anna Simamora is a professional chef who has been an Executive Chef at several COMO hotel and resort properties in the Caribbean, Bhutan and the Maldives.

Anna began her career as an apprentice at Sydney’s renowned Italian restaurant Bel Mondo cooking under the guidance of Steve Manfredi and his mother, Franca. She then went on to develop her skills at Neil Perry’s richly endowed Rockpool group, learning contemporary Asian at Wokpool and pastry skills at Rockpool.

Along her journey Anna has learnt to present food in a simple, rustic manner balanced with clean flavours!

Her philosophy on food is all about flavour, texture and using seasonal produce. Anna is very passionate about sustainability and supporting our local providers.
